Adults and Communities

The Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art welcomes group visits from adult learners and community groups.

NGCA's outreach programme aims to engage and inspire a cross section of the city's local communities with contemporary art and practice. By working creatively with partners across sectors, we hope to offer creative opportunities that enrich people's lives and support their sense of wellbeing.

Group Visits

We can offer your group a short welcome and introduction to the exhibition, led by a member of staff from the programme, learning or front of house team. Access to exhibitions and group visits are free of charge.

Please call 0191 515 5544 to discuss your requirements further.

Outreach / Offsite

NGCA programmes regular offsite events for adults and community groups, from artist screenings and talks to performances and presentations. Please see our events page for more information.

We can also provide artist-led workshops offsite for groups, either inspired by our current exhibition programme or to fit with a chosen theme. Please call 0191 515 5544 for more information.
