How to find us

Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art is currently relocating to the University of Sunderland, where we will open a new gallery space in 2017. NGCA staff are now based at The National Glass Centre.  

The National Glass Centre is a ten minute walk from St Peter's Metro station with Metro access to all parts of Tyne & Wear. Sunderland City Railway and Metro station is one stop along from St Peter's, with rail connections to the national and local rail network. Sunderland station is 25 minutes by rail or Metro from Newcastle Central.

Direct trains to Sunderland can be booked directly at Northern Rail.


By Road/Car Parking

The National Glass Centre car park is situated to the front of the building is FREE to all visitors and accessible from Dame Dorothy Street.
